Hi,
i'm building a headless home server, or so I thought! I expect it to take a few weeks so was happy to go FC9 as its nearly ready. I'm a previous Ubuntu user only.

I've put on gnome for the time being and may leave it on, but never log on as such when complete.
anyhow the firewall gui fails, i've yum reistalled and run from the command line I get this:-

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/system-config-firewall/system-config-firewall.py", line 35, in <module>
import fw_config
File "/usr/share/system-config-firewall/fw_config.py", line 31, in <module>
from netconfpkg import NCDeviceList
File "/usr/share/system-config-network/netconfpkg/__init__.py", line 61, in <module>

File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "/usr/share/system-config-network/netconfpkg/Control.py", line 29, in <module>

File "/usr/share/system-config-network/netconfpkg/plugins/NCDevCTC.py", line 22, in <module>
from netconfpkg.NC_functions import CTC
ImportError: cannot import name CTC

any ideas anyone, a different gui would do if its just that, Very new to Fedora so am quite lost.

i belive firestarter is nice, but have you thought about just using the command line iptables. works like a champ
