The problem I have is that the system updater will not update libgweather, gnome-panel and gnome-applets. The reason is that the dependency resolution fails (during an update!), namely they require libgweather.so. The only way to update the system seems to be to do yum --skip-broken update . Is this a known problem is it just me?
Also another problem I have found is that a lot of packages in the repositories seem to be unsigned. This is a problem because it renders PackageKit pretty much useless. Without yum --nogpgckeck there is no way to install certain packages.

This smells like custom repositories to me...
Can you list the repositories that you are currently using ? /etc/yum/repo.d/....
edit:
yum repolist, yum repolist.. gotta remember that ..

Ah well, I just saw you're on the development version and posting in Alpha-Beta. In you're case, it's best to upgrade with skipbroken switch until a fix is released.

Actually I the version I downloaded was the alpha version but I manually adjusted the repo settings to download from releases/9/ since I was made to understand that this links directly to rawhide until the release date, when it becomes the stable Fedora 9 repository...

Also, does anybody know about the unsigned packages?
