How do I change the system time on my Apple G3 iBook?

Hi,
have you tried right-clicking the clock? 3rd item on the list.

Alternatively you could boot with a mac os system cd and do it that way.

I was referring to the hardware clock. Method similar to changing the time in the bios on a pc. I would guess there's some way to do it with open firmware.

Hi, :)
Sorry, but what I expect fedora to modify when right-clicking the menu bar clock is parameter ram.

Open Firmware doesn't deal with rtc function that's solely parameter ram, which you might say is the nearest thing to a bios on the mac, except that parameter ram has no callable routines like PCs.

If you have a usb-floppy drive you could copy the Date-Time Control panel onto it and boot from MacOS CD
or set up your machine for dual booting into MacOS/Fedora.

Hi,
I had big problems yesterday with G4. pram battery has gone flat, and fedora failed at several points during the session. For the time being i'm going back to OS-X while I find a less time-intensive os to battle with.

Bah!
