yum --disablerepo=livna-devel update or, wait and try later? Edit: Looks like it's "livna-development". So, try with 'yum --enablerepo=livna-development update' and see if it works. The repo name in Fedora 8 is shown as 'livna-devel.repo', but called up as 'livna-development'.

tried both... problem is that i need the livna repos in order to install my gfx and wifi drivers. tried doing it manually but taking care of the dependencies is too hard.

specifically the error is an errno 14, with the http 404 error

I don't think Livna has F9 repositories yet. They will probably release at the same time as F9 final.

Edit: Umm, just kidding, sorry I'm dumb.

Install the Fedora 8 Livna: http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/ and then choose the livna-devel.repo as 'enabled'; the regular Fedora8 as disabled. And, for cripes sakes, don't refer to yourself as 'dumb'. Trying to get a jump on the next stable release; takes guts...okay, maybe not brains ;) .. but certainly not 'dumb'.

As info, I've got Fedora 8 on my main partition and Fedora 9 Beta on a side partition..for fun!

BTW, here's my livna-devel.repo which is working just fine as of this minute:

You need to disable the livna repo (the regular one).

Today is May 4th, and in two weeks, the Fedora9 distro will be released. Has anyone succeeded in making the preview version of firefox / fedora 9 work with the adobe flash? I installed the 64 bit version, and could not get it to work, I installed the 32 bit version and here too, I could not get it to work. Somehow the flash file has to go to a new directory or a soft link for the new directory is required. Help, I don't want to install the older firefox version, that I know works so so.

Hello:
Adobe flash is working here on 64bit Firefox.

Do you have the following packages installed ?
nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-27.fc9.i386
nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-27.fc9.x86_64

The libflash module was missing from the 32bit installation. Adding it solved the problem.

"libflashsupport"

Yeah!! and with 32bit version, see no requirement for ndispluginwrapper...
