Hi guys. When Fedora 9 is released should those of us who are currently using a rawhide updated alpha/beta version download the final release dvd and do a complete reinstall or is the rawhide snapshot at the time of the release equivalent to the release?

Hi,
Those who are using rawhide currently will be automagically pointed to the Fedora 9 release repos when it is release time.

A reinstall might still be useful to get rid off any development repo specific issues.

Question similar to that if I use the preupgrade tool to go to the beta of FC9 can I still have a copy of FF2 installed along side FF3.
I use Google browser synch and this is not yet updated for FF3

a lot of themes an extensions arent updated for FF3 yet .. i cant see why you wont be able to run ff2 alongside FF3 in Fedora9

yes but a default upgrade would rename FF calls to pull up FF3 if I am not mistaken.
How do I install both from the Fedora repo but retain them both

Hi,
There is no easy way to do that. Firefox 3 is the default in Fedora 9 and has replaced the older version.
