in Fedora Core 2,

how do I modify the graphical mode login screen?

I want to remove 'localhost.localdomain'
from displaying on the screen, and instead have it say something like
"Tom's Computer" or something a little more user-friendly.

I'm not asking how to change the domain, I don't want to do that,
esp since I have to use localhost.localdomain for mysql to work right,

what I want to do is simply modify the login screen so it doesn't say that anymoore.

is it an image I have to modify? or a text file?
what am I looking for exactally?

thanks

You can download many different login themes from:
http://art.gnoome.org (Login Manager)
http://www.gnome-look.org (GDM Themes)

Under System Settings -> Login Screen -> Graphical Greeter -> Install new theme, and choose your downloaded file(you can leave it compressed).

Some themes don't display localhost.localdomain.
