I've been away from Fedora but wanted to check it out again. I just got F8 nicely installed and configured, and I like it enough that I wanted to take a look at what's to come later in the month. I tried the F9-Beta DVD but got exceptions from anaconda early in the package install (the sha1sum and media check had both passed). Then I tried a hard drive install from the ISO and got the same. Then I tried a net install and got the same.

So, has anyone got this to work?

I assume F9 is constantly changing at this point -- while the Beta was a release and therefore static, is there a snapshot repository I could use that might have solved the problem I'm having?

Otherwise I guess I can wait another 3 weeks and then try it, but the servers will be pretty slow then ;)

Hi,

Many people have this running. A more recent snapshot is available at http://torrent.fedoraproject.org and there is netboot.iso for network installation that is refreshed on a daily basis. Those would be more useful for testing now compared to the beta release.
