Peace,
I would like to know if a package like KAPCKAGE exists for FedoraCore2. I have tried www.rpmfind.net, but the one I installed (kapckage-3.x.x.rpm) was installed correctly yet did not work. I typed kapackage and said it is not found!
So, if there is any package manager for FedoraCore2 that would be great, the one that comes with it is awful!

Max

PS.
I love redhat

I don't know what kapackage does, but file-roller is a nice gui for unpackaging.

Kpackage is a RPM pakage manager for KDE.

Have you tried running it as a superuser and cd to thwe directory where the binary is located and run it from there.

The Fedora Tracker (http://www.fedoratracker.org/tracker.py?mode=pkgSearch) is a good tool to search for Fedora packages.

Try to run kpackage as root. You will need to anyway to install packages, and root has /sbin and similar directories on its path.
