SB Live + FC2 = problem

I have never managed to get this to work myself (reason is I'm too noob-ish I guess). I have read that other been having trouble (to say the least) and that they've put in many hours before they got it working ...

FC2 recognizes the card and the module is there but nothing happens !

Any of you who's got an idea???

Well I have the same card and have tested it on FC2 -test1. Like you, it initially didn't output any sound even though the card was detected correctly.

However, all I had to do was run `aumix` and unmute all channels. For some reason they are muted by default except for the "Main Volume" channel.
