max physical processors supported?

Does anybody know how many physical processors Fedora 8 can support? Planning on a Quad quad-core machine for an insane client of mine. Does anybody know if this will work?
(its gonna be a rad box...6x1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, 4x Gigabit Ethernet, 4x Intel Core 2 Quad 6700)

Should be good.

The Linux 2.6 kernel is ready for production use on systems with up to 32 processors, and has even been tested on 64-processor systems
