Howdy,
I have Fedora 8 i386 installed on a Dell XPS M1330 with Intel wireless 4965 AG or AGN Network Connection (rev 61) wifi card.
This only started happening recently, so I can only guess that it's the result of an update.
When I'm done using my laptop, I suspend it by clicking the battery/charge icon near the clock and clicking suspend, or if I'm running on battery I just shut the lid.
When I open the lid the system resumes and after several minutes the network manager still shows a red x
service network restart doesn't get wifi working, I have to reboot the computer.
Occasionally, when I resume from a suspend the wifi will work, but the majority of the time I have to reboot.
