Hello everyone, I installed fc8 and everything is running properly except the sound card; there is no sound at all. The sound card is detected but no sound is coming out the speakers.
Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc
Model: SB450 HDA Audio
Module: snd-hda-intel
I searched the forum for a solution. I found some threads are posted already addressing the same problem but non of these threads were useful.

Also, I attached some screenshots for the sound card specifications.

I tried to edit /etc/modprobe.conf using the root account but nothing happens.
