Hello!

I've been originally using Gentoo Linux. Since i had troubles (it was not possible) to set up gentoo with a Wireless network card for using the internet connection i'd like to ask how's the hardware support of FC2 for WLAN devices?

To be exactly i'm using a
Netgear WG311 54Mbit Wireless LAN PCI-Adapter
with 802.11g chipset.

I've been using RH9 then, and set up the card (not automatically) by using external drivers and recompiling the RH kernel.

How about FC2? I couldnt find any supported hardware list of FC2.

TIA

Can't say for certain, unless someones tested it with a test release.

I got an Answer on the question i had, found it on a german board :)

All cards (as well as Netgear wg311) which are based on a Prism54 chipset are supported by linux kernel 2.6.5 or higher.

To complete this topic for the ones searching:
Look up if your card is based on a Prism54-Chipset on http://prism54.org/supported_cards.php
