Banshee stopped recognizing my ipod

I plugged in my ipod and tinkered with it a little. I was able to sync my ipod in Banshee. Wasn't able to eject the ipod error popped up. I did the ipod reset to safely remove and now I've screwed something up. I can see my ipod on my desktop, but not in Banshee. Where do I begin?

I have 2 questions about ipod and Banshee. I received no response to my first post. So, I installed the ipod on my MS XP HDD. Went into a cmd prompt and did chdsk E: /f and it repaired my corrupted ipod. My first question is what's the equivalent to this command in Linux? My second question is how do I eject or unmount my ipod? I get this error when attempting to eject. Thanks

I did some paying around and got this to work. [robert@localhost ~]$ eject /dev/sdb
