I am new to fedora and really like it so far. My biggest snag has been getting my palm to sync up. As the subject states I have a Tungsten E and am trying to sync it to Evolution using gnome pilot. I am wondering if anyone has specific steps on what I should do to get this working.
thanks in advance.

I have a Tungsten T2 and have had the same problem. It appears to be an issue with the USB support in the Linux Kernel. I have been able to sync my T2 occasionally. It usally works if I disconnect USB devices I am not using and plug in the Tungsten T2 before I boot up the computer. I was hoping Fedora Core 2, which has the new kernel 2.6, will fix it.

I haven't had any problems syncing my T3 with Fedora Core 2. The following assumes you have all the relevant software installed. Try the steps below, and reply with the results.
geeknik, you'll need to add the Pilot back into the list by:
1) Starting "Pilot Settings" (gpilotd-control-applet)
2) Click on Add
3) Click on Get from Pilot and fill in the boxes.
Secondly, check that the pilot conduits haven't been reset - mine were during the upgrade from RH9 to FC2:
1) Start Pilot Settings
2) click on the Conduits tab
3) check your synchronisation setup.
Thirdly, add the Pilot Applet to your Panel to allow Hotsync at any time:
1) Right-click on panel
-> add to panel,
-> utility,
-> Pilot Applet.
