Hello,

I need some guidence to install FC2 from hard disk. I have 2 hard drives and I would like to wipe it out and install fedora.

Currently my setup is likle this:
/dev/hda - Win XP
/dev/hdb - Fedora Core 1

I was thinking of wiping /dev/hda clean, formatting it to ext3 and dumping all the iso there and install Fedora Core 2 on /dev/hdb.

My question is can I do this during install? I read on the fedora site that I have to give a mount point to the iso. However what will the mount point be on my first hard disk where the iso are? /dev/hdb/iso_file_name?

Thank you for your help

err nevermind. I see there was another thread about this and it looks hopeless for me since I don't know how to do all that hacking listed in the link provided from the other thread.

Thanks

If you want to try it you can put the isos on a fat or ext formatted drive, enter linux askmethod at the first prompt, specify the drive and the filename, and install.

This might not work as the Win XP is NTFS and the Fedora Core may be formatted.
