 Hi, I have a PC that I have installed Core 2 on, it is for a youth cafe where we want to lockdown everything. I have managed to find quite alot on restricting access to various things but I can find no way of limiting access (removing) the system tools menu and programming menu etc from the ordinary user log account?

Is this possible and can anyone either point me to documentation that tells me or err ... tell me.

What I need is a very secure environment and I need help.

I am also new to Linux so the instructions will have to be simple sorry.

You don't need to remove those tools, since only root can use them.

Hi,

Regardless of the user they still have access to the Configuration Editor which I don't want them to have.

As I have said previously I would if possible like this to be a very tightly lockdown system.

Thanks
