I have installed FC2 and other distros several times but came back to fc2. That nautulus fix works wonders and I am happy. Now only one more thing plagues me...My machine randomly freezes when im doing work or letting the system idle. What normally happens is that the mouse moves around while the display freezes and so does keyboard input. The only way I can recover is to restart. Now the other problem that I am guessing is related is the randomly the display settings are reset and my monitor displays the following error:
--------------------
Sync out of Range
1.3kHz 72Hz NN
-------------------
This is no biggy as I can do a CTRL-ALT-F8 and then CTRL-ALT-F7 to bring me back into X and reset settings although i still do not know why it does this [an after a few times the display is garbled where there are blocks of the normal display's color and then a white stripes]

I am guessing/hoping it is a simple config error or a hardware issue. Video error is my best guess. Do i need a new GFX card? Mine is old being PCI ATI All in Wonder Radeon [~7200 series]...I also have 2 hard drives & 2 cd/dvd drives.

Just to let you know, it seems that it has to be some sort of hardware problem as I once installed mandrake 10 and it locked up just like it does now....Im buying a Nvidia Geforce 5900 that I hope will solve the problem [bny the end of the week] but im still looking for ideas otherwise...
