I want to set up a share of my printer and file folder, so that Windoze can see it.
How?
(I set up printer and can get from Linux to Windows, but now I want the other way)

Config the "samba" and start the service "smb".

Install the following packages, instructions on how: www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware
system-config-samba
samba-server
samba
Then open system-config-samba, which can be found in your menu under System Settings, Server Settings.
Set up your shares, your samba-users and such. Should be easy enough, come back if you run into trouble.

Thanks Foolish, that got installed w/yum. (There was no samba-server package but other 2).
Now I can see the share from Windows.... but I can't connect, it never asks me for a password. (I created a user).
(part 2: Also I want to share from Linux to Linux, so that share can be seen by all - even Mac.
And.... I still don't see the printer - I would like to share Fedora printer to Windoze and Mac)
TIA,

Did you add a samb account with the command:
#smbpasswd -a your_name
