Hello:
Have you looked through the livna development repo ?

The ati drivers work on 2.4 kernels according to their site. If listed then download and install.

Brian1 - i tried the one from the ATI site - it seemed to install fine but once i ran aticonfig --initial it just said the fglrx driver was not working. I re-ran the installer with the --buildpkg option but it did not have a choice for F9 and F8 didn't seem to work.

Seve- thanks, i didn't see that. i'm trying the xorg-fglrx package, i also saw kmod-fglrx and akmod-fglrx. what are those?

Don't know where to go. haven't used a 2.4 kernel in a few years. Maybe email ati support or see if there is a help forum.

There is no fglrx driver for F9 till they use a non development version the xorg server ( Ati and Nvidia don't support development versions of xorg )

so just stick with the "radeon" driver until FC9 is more official?
