FC2 software installation after system setup

hi @ all,

i have fc2 without x-server installed...

now i need some additional software like a c compiler !
but i dont know how to install software with shell!

maybe someone can help me

If you would ask, how to install a software without shell, that would be hard to answer. But :

yum install <packagename>

Start by running this command: yum install gcc make binutils gcc-c++ This should get you started with some basic tools to compile software. This should cover the "./configure; make; make install" commands.
