Hi, I was wondering if I install Fedora 9 Alpha, will it keep updating itself over the next few months until it becomes the stable release? Or do I have to still go and download/install the final release?
Thanks

Yes, you have to do updates when you're alerted to them, but it will continue to update to the development repository (rawhide). When final 9 is released it should automatically switch to the F9 repos, and then you can choose to continue using final F9 or to change to development again.

However.. I should also mention that it is HIGHLY advisable to do a fresh install of F9 when it is released, saving a backup of your home directory and restoring after the install. The development releases are very much a moving target... there are many times that changes are made which do not fully take effect in the same way as a fresh install will.

I will also mention that you can't expect any support for F9 alpha from fedora forum as it is unsupported , so if you have any problems ( and you will ;) ) with it expect little or no help .
