FC2 - 2 Problems

Hello,

1) Looking at the applets, I cannot find eth0 lights applet, I was looking forward for it and I also couldn't find it on Test versions. How can I make it active ?

2) I can't see other Windows shares, I'm configuring them with SWAT. The same settings were fine on FC1. Also my Security option is SHARE but it still asks for username and password. What can I do ?

The gnome-netstatus-applet isn't included for some reason, you can get it from dag wieers repository:

http://dag.wieers.com/packages/gnome-netstatus/

You have to restart the panel to update the Add to panel menu after you install the rpm.

I have that samba-problem too, where it asks for password even though I've set it to share. I don't know much about samba, anyone?
