Good evening.
I was wondering if someone could help me resolve a slight issue I am experiencing in Fedora 8. I recently replaced my 5400 rpm drive with a 7200 rpm drive and I used GParted to copy the data and everything is working like it should except what used to be eth0 is now eth3. All communications work but I was wondering how do I get the system to see eth3 as eth0 again? I appreciate any help on the subject.
UPDATE: I figured this one out on my own just after I had posted. I just needed to renmae/delete a file in "/etc/udev/rules.d" called "70-persistent-net.rules"
