I'm using the latest release of nVidia drivers and they work no problem. However, I'm having an issue setting the resolution on my second monitor.

I have a DELL 20" 4:3 LCD running at 1600x1200 as my primary monitor. Occasionally, I hook up my 32" Sharp LCD TV via DVI as a second monitor. It works, but a problem is that the nVidia control panel won't let me set the resolution beyond 1024x768 on the TV. I need to be able to set it to 1368x768 to use the native res of the TV. Under WinXP, the nVidia driver lets me set up a custom resolution.

Any idea how to do this with the Linux nVidia driver?

I have used "system-config-display" to set that resolution for a Samsung 32" lcd TV monitor.

Follow up...the 169.12 drivers allow me to pick 1280x768 resolution now. I also figured out (not easily, either!) how to bypass the autodetect stuff in the driver and manually specify 1280x720 (16:9) or 1368x768 (panel actual resolution which is really 1366x768) in the xorg.conf file.
