View Full Version : [Fedora 8] Odd USB Device Behaviour

The 'problem' I have is that Fedora 8 doesn't detect automatically my USB memory stick when I plug it in. However, if I run "/sbin/lsusb/" in a Terminal window, it detects it straight away.
It isn't my memory stick because I've tried it with 3 different ones, 2 card readers and my PSP which all exhibit identical behaviour.

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

might be a long shot but make sure haldeamon service is running it is required to mount things automatically upon detection
