Well, I'd like to start out saying that I roamed into the Fedora Core realm blindly without research, and downloaded the 4.1GB DVD copy to install, and the DVD actually works, so yay for me!:D
Anyways, long story short, I downloaded Fedora Core 2, verified it, installed windows xp (I tried to make it have a 50mb gap before it to put my /boot partition on, but Mr. Billy Gates said "Nono, you can't do this! Windows XP rules and must be put first!"), so I listened to Mr. Billy and made him a 20GB NTFS partition, and another 20GB partition for sharing files. Then I installed yadeyadeyade, whoopededoo, it works. So I go to install Fedora, it gives me a few errors during the install, I install grub, it warns me about overwriting (I figured Microsoft must die someday, so why not start today, and overwrite it?), and then for some reason, it didn't detect DOS. So I just ignored it and continued. Then when I booted, I tried to add it in manually but it gives me a 0xf error when I do so. I can boot into fedora, but I need XP in order to get my ACX100 card working with it, so I don't have to waste a CD on the drivers.
A step-by-step tutorial would be nice. And oh yes, I've got no problem with starting clean, I didn't have anything to save from my last install.
