Soundcard Issue

I got F8 running on my Dell Laptop.. Sound appears to be fine, I can play music and so fourth.. Except when I type in a Username on the F8 Login, the speaker beeps real freaking loud.. And if I'm in Terminal and I try to autocomplete (tab) and it doesn't exist, it beeps again real loud.. It's like it's playing the system speaker.. it's annoying as hell.. I can't turn it down or stop it.. Any clues?

System > Preferences > Hardware > Sound ???

Checked there.. Everything was fine.. Still does the hardware beep lol.. :(

The autocomplete is controllable.
System->Preferences->Hardware->Sound (3rd tab, system sound will control it completely)


For the login beep ...
System->Administratoin->Login Windows
the 3rd tab, Acccessibility, as sound control
