The system is Fedora 7. A LVM file system is installed on a USB thumb ram. How can the stick be mounted? What is required to setup and what is the mount command? Thanks - Dan

What install program did you use?
Where is the /boot partition? Is it on sda1?
Is there another system on the a sd (sda)?
LVM is NOT really for a USB device. That is a bit overkill since 1 vg with a / and swap LV on even a 2 GB stick is barely enough space to run a desktop.

Yes, the install did not fit on a 2 GB. The LVM set is made up of a 2 sticks, a 1 gig and a 2 gig. The boot partition is in a seperate 50 mb partition. Fedora.

Quick follow up - the boot process has a routine to scan volumes and find LVMs. Does anyone know what that routine is?
