Is it possible to remove Redhat Linux from a PC or do you have to throw the
hard drive away? I've not found a way to do this and apparantly not many
other folks have either.

the best way to do it is to delete the partitions used for Red Hat, and
create a new partition. Just format that new partition for whatever OS
you're going to use. Now, I have had no success removing linux
partitions through the fdisk program that comes with windows, I've had
to use Partition Magic.

Will erase all partitions, any OS.
And it's free.

Boot using any fat32 bootable floppy..at the A:/ prompt type fdisk
remove all partitions that are NOT fat32 partitions and ok everything,
then exit fdisk. Reboot with the same floppy and at A:/ type fdisk /mbr
this will remove the Linux bootloader as well....then install whatever OS
strikes your fancy.

Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner, I've been in class all week. I removed
RedHat 9.0 and installed Windows 2000.
