Currently using Fedora Core 1.

I tried to access my other machine (windows 2000 pro) using Network Servers. I accidentally entered the invalid username and password. So it gave me an error, You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of "smb://win2kpro".

I close and reopen Network Servers and try to access my machine again, still it gives me the same error, not allowing me to key in the valid username and password. Have to restart x-windows then only it will prompt me for authentication.

How do I clear the smb username and password cache WITHOUT restarting x-windows

Thanks

i'm using nautilus

found out something new. that problem only happens if i specify the pc-name

smb://win2k-svr

but if i specify by ip

smb://192.168.0.1

then i would not have that error. Is this a bug with nautilus?
