I hope this is as good of a place as any to ask this question...

I thought the Echo Icon theme was going to be default in F8?

Anyway - I installed it from the repo after install, and I have to say it's a lovely theme - Seems like a more modern Bluecurve icon theme...

Anyone else installed it?

I agree. It's much more pleasing to look at than the default Gnome icons.

Of course, I'll always have a thing for the Bluecurve icons. :)

Echo icons are pushed for Fedora 9. There are still task to do for the menu (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/EchoIconTheme/EchoToDo/Menus) (mainly Gnome but other Desktop Environments fan are welcome for support). The theme has a new host that users can grab and submit suggestions: https://hosted.fedoraproject.org/projects/echo-icon-theme/

I'm using it, even if it is incomplete.
