You want DNS server or client?
If it's client that you want, just edit your /etc/resolv.conf with:
nameserver x.x.x.x #primary dns server
nameserver x.x.x.x #secondar dns server if you have more than one

If you are talking about DNS server, u need to create zone files in /var/named, i do know there is known issue if you use the GUI for DNS config, it will create inside chkroot folder under /var/named, just copy it back to /var/named.

If your using webmin, i suggest you create the bind dns manually. creating them in named does not create icons in the gui.
