Problem with Flash Drive automount

My PC has Fedora 7, whenever I boot the PC with a flash drive attached to the USB, it is mounted automatically, But when I try to insert the flash drive while the PC is running F7, it fails to auto mount, I have to mount is manuallly through terminal.

How can this problem be fixed. Please help. I need ot auto mount the thing like what XP does.

I have the exact problem and still searching for a solution. I don't know is it a problem with GNOME itself or with the system !!!
