I have a micro innovations webcam,
dmesg displays:

usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Linux video capture interface: v2.00
sn9c102: V4L2 driver for SN9C1xx PC Camera Controllers v1:1.47
usb 3-2: SN9C103 PC Camera Controller detected (vid:pid 0x0C45:0x60AF)
usb 3-2: PAS202BCB image sensor detected
usb 3-2: Initialization succeeded
usb 3-2: V4L2 device registered as /dev/video0
usb 3-2: Optional device control through 'sysfs' interface disabled
usbcore: registered new interface driver sn9c102
usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio

lsusb:
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0c45:60af Microdia

now when I got camstream the camera is not listed under device,

when I run camE
$ camE

/dev/video0: no v4l device

$ caminfo
CVideoDevice::CVideoDevice() could not query capabilities; is this really a vide o device?

Is this webcam supported under linux? if so how do I get to work, I'll like to use it with kopete and camstream. I'll appreciate your help

Hello this may help you , it has most webcam drivers available , and use camstream to test to see.
