Hello Forum members,

I am very frustated because of my on board Intel graphic adapter. It is part of the P4i45gc Mainboard (ASRock) and makes it impossible to use use an second adapter in the agp slot. With the FX 5200 installed it is impossible to install Fedora (lots of Error while the Installer loads). So I installed Fedora 7 without the FX5200.
A few day ago I read in an Ubuntu Forum adding these lines

blacklist agpgart
blacklist intel_agp

to the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file coult fix this errors.
After that I I installed the nvidia Driver from livna.org.

I shut down th PC and installed the adpater card in hope it will be recognized at boot. But the same errors appeared again. The intel_agp must has been recognized as well.

Please, does anybody got this configuration work? Did I make an mistake?

Thank you very much for your advice!

Regards

Stefan
