Red Hats been in the News recently for unveiling their latest plans for the Desktop. NewsForge (http://www.newsforge.com/) has some good information about it here (http://www.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=04/05/04/1427200).

Meanwhile SearchEnterpriseLinux (http://www.searchenterpriselinux.com/) has a nice little article about Red Hat and SE Linux which can be read here (http://searchenterpriselinux.techtarget.com/originalContent/0,289142,sid39_gci962383,00.html).

I certainly hope my university uses it as a standard distro, or even Enterprise Workstation. Any idea on academic licensing for this edition? I know the enterprise 3.0 line has fairly good academic pricing.
