I'm brand new to Fedora, previously only using windows OS. I've worked through quite a bit of problens but this one has stumped me.
I had nothing but trouble get wireless to work on my Acer Aspire laptop on my Fedora 7 OS. The laptop comes with a internal card but is not recognized by any of the wirelss install chocies presented.
I purchased an AnyCom Bluetooth USB adapter after reading a review that someone had success on their Linux OS using it.
Neither the internal wireless (intel ?) or the AnyCom are working. BTW, I've partion the hard drive, leaving the original windows Vista OS intact.
I have the latest ndsiwrapper loaded source from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ndiswrapper in the newly created folder called ndiswrapper under the home folder. The instructions I'm using stop at "make distclean" with an error message saying that it's expecting a kernel that is no longer on my system as I have a newer one.
Does anyone have be instructions for installing ndiswrapper for someone with limited Fedora/Linux OS skills? Thanks!

What's the type of the internal wireless adapter? Show the output of "/sbin/lspci".

Bluetooth is a different method of wireless communication that works only with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, not wireless LANs.

Thank you Mark for your response and the Bluetooth info!
It appears that I have an Atheros AR5006EG 802.11 b/g Wireless PCI Express Adapter. Here is the /sbin/lspci info that requested in order to further help me:
