OK, I have an OKI B4100, listed as working perfectly (http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Okidata-B4100) on linuxprinting with the LaserJet1100 driver.
Printing from Firefox and gedit are both perfect.
Printing from OpenOffice.org or Evince (not sure which others) however, the "Print" button is greyed out see screenshot here (http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k1/wesetters/Capture-5-2.png).
I am running Fedora Core 6 x86_64, kernel 2.6.22.1.
I have tried setting up the printer from scratch again, but to no avail.
I also cannot connect to cups on localhost:631.
