You have a mobility radeon x1300, to use with all capacity, you must to install the Linux ati driver:

You must to have installed the liva repository, and in this case, as root in a terminal, type:

yum install kmod-fglrx

and then, restart your computer.

Yes, but he should be able to change his resolution.
?? What happens when you run 'systen-config-display' and you change the resolution, then logout & login ?
