Mouse detected but not being displayed

I have installed fedora 7 on my AMD Athlon PC aith A8NVM motherboard.....
mouse was detected while installation and mouse pointer was displayed....
but when the desktop ws loaed the mouse movement were being sensed by the icons but the pointer was not visible.... please send me a solution as soon as possible because i need the system for my college assignment please....

Check your Xorg.conf file if you have the following in section Module:

Load "extmod"
SubSection "extmod"
Option "omit xfree86-dga"
EndSubSection


If not, add that and restart X. Your problem should be solved.

OR,

You may have a display card issue. Try to load the specific driver for you card.
