Hi,
I got a Samba (samba-3.0.26a-0.fc7) server configured on my Fedora 7 with LDAP authentication,
when i try to login with a user that exists on the LDAP but doesn't exists on the system it just gives this msg:
[2007/09/18 18:35:49, 0] passdb/pdb_get_set.cdb_get_group_sid(211)
pdb_get_group_sid: Failed to find Unix account for drocha
i removed the LDAP stuff, and just used normal password db, and same problem, can't add users to the db that doesn't exist in the system :(
Thing is that i got another PC with Centos 4.5 and Samba (samba-3.0.10-1.4E.12.2) configured the same way as in Fedora 7 and it works fine, i log in ok with any user that i got on my LDAP server even if isn't a linux user.
So this must be some Fedora 7 issue... can any one help me out?
