Pardon my language, but WTF?!?!?!?! Where did these things come from and why are they here? When I get on here, I click on "Show new posts" - but 5248 new posts? In less than 12 hours? Did we get spammed by a mailing list or did somebody fat-finger something on the server?

As far as I see it, we merged with the
fedora-list@redhat.com and alt.os.linux.redhat. The idea is not bad and next time, when you log in there will be no 29,000 new messages, but it's a pity, that you can't post.

look, what I've found : http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16032

ok...is there a way to have it so that when I click on the get new posts link it doesn't show up the usenet posts archive? Just over 2000 messages last night have made keeping up with the regular forum threads harder.

Well, apparently I got on in between the first merge and the last - because I got over 700 unread posts.

To be honest, guys - I am not amused. My poor ol' heart can't take surprises like this! :D

Thanks! Oh, and my wife appreciates it, too. Apparently she's not quite ready to cash in on the benefits package, such that it is...
