I've tried gnomad2/amarok etc..but the base OS itself is not able to recognize the device and hence these apps can not find it....

Will appreciate any tips/tricks/pointers to resolve this...

Thanks & Regards,
kamdard.

apparently gnomad2 will get it up and running although I´m now two hours into getting it to work myself and have no success, I hit a hurdle after the first stage of install from the sourceforge download. after navigating to the source code src folder of the gnomad download you supposedly run ./configure when i do i get the error
no package glib-2.0 found
no package gthread-2.0 found
¨ ¨ libnjb found
¨ ¨ gtk+-2.0 found
i suppose these must be dependancies, so i off on a search for them now, a(well after i´ve had my dinner. if anyone out there reading this knows an easy way through this process i would appreciate a helping hand heaps as i´m still a newbie and am getting a bit tired of this mission, cheers!
