How bad would you feel if all your life equated to in others' eyes was 5 years worth of ice cream (http://www.local6.com/news/14085020/detail.html)? Alas, we may never get to ask the man :(

The true jewel in this story is the following:

Solomon said the man -- about 6 feet 2 inches tall and heavy-set -- purchased ice cream with a woman and two girls. Security footage reveals he was clutching an ice-cream cup and cradling an ice-cream carton in his arm when the theft occurred.

The really sad part is I didn't have any problem at all picturing this :)

Good PR on the part of Ben & Jerrys, for very little money! Also very sad that some kids now realize their dad is a complete jerk and their mom couldn't do better! This is the kind of jerk that I used to love checking out the 'max sentence' before he came back to hear it from me in Court.

I guess everyone is different, but my first thought was hardly one B&J would want a potential customer thinking. I thought that they should have replaced the tips since they seemed to know how much was stolen. That would have been good PR. As it stands now, I simply thought that they used someone elses' misfortune to get some free advertising :D

I can understand someone needing to steal beer, but ice-cream! The mind boggles! (Won't mention I'm lactose intolerant)
