I have an NVidia nForce3 sound card that I can't get working correctly. It'll play the audio on my speakers, but It won't play the sample sound and I can't record sound when using Xvid Screen Capture. Is there like a driver or something I need to get? Do I need to mess around with some files? Does anyone know what I need to do?

Also, on a possibly unrelated note, I can't for some reason use Skype. I can hear people from the speakers, but not from the headset like it should be, and they can't hear me at all. Is there something here that I need to do? (actually, this may have just been solved, I'll need to talk to my friend at some point to test it. I just took a look at it and noticed a difference that I'm not sure was there before)
EDIT: Yeah, forget that last part, I just called Echo, the sound test service, and everything's in working order as far as I can tell.
