Ending months of rumors, Hewlett-Packard appears to have released its first mass-market PC with pre-installed Linux. Specifically, the company will soon be selling RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Desktop 5 on its HP dx2250 PC to Australian customers.

The article isn't very accurate. HP has been selling Linux desktops and workstations for years now, For example:
» 2000 Series Desktop PCs
Our lowest price PC designed for small office environments and basic application usage such as word processors, spreadsheets, internet browsing and email.
Starting at: $ 359.00* As low as $11/mo.**
• Genuine Windows XP Professional SP2
• Genuine Windows XP Home SP2
• or Mandrake Linux
• Essential features at affordable prices.
(Just took the first I saw - there are plenty of other models.)
Either these guys don't know what they are talking about -- or they refer to availability in Australia. I sure hope it's latter or yet another 'news' site show quality of their content.
