I've been trying to install Fedora 7 and have run into a strange error. I don't have a DVD burner so I downloaded the boot.iso file and burned it to a CD, and then boot to the install.
I direct the installer to download Fedora from the directory: ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/7/Fedora/x86_64/os/
The network connection works fine, but when I get to the actual install the installer claims it cannot find the file:
setarch-2.0-4.fc7.x86_64.rpm
It gives me the option to retry looking for it but does not find it. The only thing it then lets me do is reboot the computer. I have also tried the Georgia Tech GTlib mirror and encountered the exact same problem. On both fileservers, the file in question is clearly there in the x86_64/os/Fedora directory.
Anyone have any hints as to what I can do?
