I'm having difficulties searching for a skype recorder that works on Fedora/Linux flatform. Is there someone can help me. thanks in advance

Skype recorder?
Do you mean your microphone is not working.?
The skype rpm worked for me
http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/

Then to get the microphone working
System -> Preferences -> Personal -> Volume Control

or just type
$ gnome-volume-control
on the command line

and turn on the microphone and jack up the volume level.
