Hello,
Does anyone know how I can mount a software RAID 5 array which was created using XP Pro? I am running a dual boot XP Pro / Fedora 7.
If it is possible to do this do you think there will be any risks to my data due to conflicts between the OSs, etc.?
Cheers

You need LCD (in development, raid 5 status?, uses / must use dynamic disks?)
You will need to compile it into the kernel.
You will need a really great resume' and 2 years of income in case things go wrong. :)
And here is a chuckle of a post.

Hey, thanks for replying so fast.
By "LCD" did you mean LDM? Also, I didn't understand your parenthesised comment.
I've never recompiled my kernel before so the likelihood of it going wrong is probably fairly high. If I were to install openSUSE and save myself the bother of mucking around with the kernel, would the mounting procedure for the RAID then be trivial? If so, which commands would I use? e.g. Would the "dmraid -ay" command recognise a Windows software RAID?

Yes, LDM. (can you tell what's on mine mind? :) )
As for the rest of it, I can't tell you, I might get sued. :)
